Opening the Product Search Window
The Product Search window can
be opened by choosing the Search ... option from the Product menu, or by
clicking on the Search 
button on the Product Toolbar.
Searching ...
| 1) | Type in the word
(or part of a word) that you want to search for. |
| 2) | Set your Filtering
Options and Sort Order. Check the Match Case option if you want exact matches based on case. Check the Display Default Units Only option if you do not want all units for a found product to be displayed. If you are looking for a particular product then you will probably want to sort in Alphabetical order. However, if you are searching for the best price for a product across multiple stores then you will probably want to sort in Price order. |
| 3) | Click Search Now. |
| 4) | The Products which
match your search criteria will be displayed in a list, showing you the
Category they belong to, along with the Unit and Price for each store. |

There are a couple of ways in which you can add a product to the current list. In both cases, select the Product that you want to add, and then either :
1) Click on the Add to List 
button.
OR
2) Left-click and drag the product to the List Window.
When added to the list, a Quantity dialog will appear to ask you for the quantity that you would like to add to the list.
