Overview

MyListMate is a clever and easy to use information management tool which will help you prepare and budget for your grocery shopping.  

MyListMate allows you to maintain a database of products that you buy, along with the price and unit for each product, and where you buy them from.

You are able to prepare and save multiple shopping lists and then print any of them out to take with you to the store.
 

Stick to your Grocery Budget

MyListMate helps you maintain estimated prices for all of the products in your database.  When you create your shopping list, MyListMate displays a running total of the estimated prices so that you can determine how much you want to spend.

After you have shopped, MyListMate allows you to update Actual prices against the items you purchased.  In this way, you can keep the estimated prices for your products as accurate as you like.

MyListMate also offers the ability to recalculate average prices for every product based on the actual prices entered by you after you shop.  Stores are constantly changing the prices they charge for their products and it can be hard to keep up.  If you choose to use average pricing, you might find that you get a better estimate of prices for the products you buy.  Of course, MyListMate allows you to override prices for any products that you want to, so you can be as accurate as you like.
 

Shop from multiple stores from the same list

Each shopping list is able to contain more than one store.  Therefore, if you want to split your shopping between a number of stores to take advantage of specials you can do so on one list.  You still get the advantage of one running total for the entire list while preparing the list in MyListMate.

Because different stores charge different prices for their products, MyListMate maintains prices for products individually for each store.  So, for example, you can tell MyListMate that a block of cheese at Store A costs $2.95, while at Store B it costs $2.80.
 

Save Money and Time

It is easy to go over budget when shopping for groceries as there are always the temptations of specials and promotions placed at the ends of aisles and so on.  By preparing your shopping list with MyListMate you will get a good estimate of what your shopping will cost.  By sticking to your list when you shop you may be able to save yourself money over a period of time.

MyListMate will help save you time at the supermarket by allowing you to choose the order that categories print on your list.  Therefore, you will know exactly what you need to buy, and from where - thereby saving you time.

Templates

Often, there is a group of commonly purchased products which you buy every time you shop.  Set up one or more templates to save you time when creating your shopping list. 
 

Track your spending

MyListMate includes a number of graph reports that allow you to display such things as :

• the Price History of a product.
• your Actual Spending.
• your Actual Spending vs Estimates.

Not sure whether you are running the latest version of MyListMate ?  Simply tell MyListMate to check for updates and it will contact the MyListMate.com server across the Internet and ask for information about the latest version.  Please note that this entire process is achieved by retrieving information from our server - none of your personal information is sent to us.

• The Reminder window which tells you how many days are left in your trial period and provides links for you to find more information and to purchase MyListMate.

• UNREGISTERED prints on the printed list.

The above restrictions are the ONLY restrictions in the unregistered version.  There are no hidden features or extra options available in the registered version other than the restrictions listed above.
