I just downloaded the CastleBar
program and it's just what I've
been looking for.
It's small enough to fit on
your title bar, out of your
way. It's easy to configure.
I use it editing my website
where I constantly open different
programs.
I used to put a shortcut on
my desktop to open these programs,
but that is a hassle. With CastleBar,
I can configure it to open WS_FTP,
HTML Aide and ClipQuik (tools
I use to edit web pages), and
all without closing or minimizing
my work. Like I said, I just
downloaded it, so I'm giving
it the test run right now. I
also find it handy reporting
spammers. I use a program called
Spam Punisher and I have also
configured it into the Castlebar
along with Visual Trace. I also
have PowerDesk configured into
CastleBar. So there are six
programs that I use quite frequently,
configured to sit "always
on top", using a very small
part of my screen. A real good
idea for people that want their
utilities to be handy, eliminating
lots of extra work. You can
also drag this to another convenient
spot, not restricting the use
just to the title bar area.
Something else that I like
is the 30 day trial. I've downloaded
software that didn't work, but
was forced to pay first. I NEVER
do this anymore! I've even had
demos work, but when you purchase
the fully functional version,
it DOESN'T work. I will purchase
this software because it is
fairly priced and seems to fit
all of my needs.
